My ego

the brother, my id says: They hire you because you're cheap.
the best friend, my superego says: They hire you because you're good.
the significant other, my ego says: They hire you because you're both.

I'm the kind of person who needs to know how short is short, how cheap is cheap and how good is good. I need comparisons and contrasts. I need measure. Otherwise, everything is just as abstract as the id, ego and superego.
